This week-long event
was filled with celebrations, special shows, parades, and exhibits in which
Branson entertainers and community members pay tribute to America's heroes.
We kicked off the week with an exclusive performance by “The Veteran’s
Sweetheart,” Barbara Fairchild, following our welcome dinner. We enjoyed
reserved seats for six of the best performances Branson had to offer,
including the Showboat Branson Belle, Celebrate America,
Baldnobber’s Jamboree, Ricky Boen & Texas Mud, and the Yakov
Smirnoff Comedy Show. We joined in the fun of the 73rd Annual Veteran’s
Day Parade aboard authentic WWII amphibious vehicles; known as “Ducks.”
Later that evening we went out in style with a farewell dinner Good Sam
style followed by The Oak Ridge Boys show. Seven nights of
camping with full hookups at America's Best Campground in Branson, motor
coach transportation and several meals all made this a musical feast we
won't soon forget. |
